LIFX gets Brilliant
Today we are pleased to announce a native integration between LIFX and the Brilliant Smart Home Control. For the first time, LIFX customers with indoor, outdoor and feature lights can now use the Brilliant Smart Home Control and its all-in-one mobile app for iOs and Android to turn lights on/off, dim lights, change colors and activate lighting scenes.
Brilliant installs in place of a typical light switch and is packed with many features. It lets you effortlessly control all of your favorite smart home devices from one, easy to access and easy to use, control panel on your wall or a single app on your phone. Brilliant makes it easy for everyone in a home to access and use the home and includes a built-in camera for room-to-room chat and Alexa voice control.
One great benefit of Brilliant for LIFX users is that Brilliant automatically recognizes your LIFX lights and keeps them online to ensure they always stay smart. When you move your finger up or down to turn on/off your lights, Brilliant will always keep your LIFX lights online and you will always be able to always ensure you have remote control of your lights.

Easy access: You can quickly turn on or dim LIFX smart bulbs with Brilliant sliders or touchscreen. This provides easy access for everyone, especially guests, kids, and nannies who may not have a smartphone app available to control LIFX.
Color changes: You can change the color of any LIFX bulb or LIFX group by selecting from 5 shades of white and 15-preset colors on the Brilliant Control screen. You can also remotely change a room’s color using a color wheel, shades of pre-set colors, or execute Scenes on the Brilliant Mobile App.
Mood lighting: Activate Scenes at set times that include setting the mood with custom lighting and color along with other devices like music in your home, and then set with or with one touch from the wall with your Brilliant Control.
In-wall voice control: You can easily turn LIFX lights on and off and trigger lighting scenes using Brilliant’s built-in Alexa voice control capabilities.
Motion control: LIFX smart bulbs can now be controlled by motion sensors built into every Brilliant Control. For example, you may want to turn on the kitchen light after dark when you enter the room and turn it off after 5 minutes if no motion is detected.
